How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Domestic orders leave our studio within 5 - 7 business days and once scanned by our carrier take 2-8 business days to arrive via USPS. Please understand that we have no control over when your order arrives after it leaves our warehouse or how often your tracking updates.
During holiday times it may take longer as order volume increases. If you need your order sooner please email us.
Please note: we only ship out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you need your order sooner please add next day shipping and message us so we can expedite your order ASAP.
Is there sales tax?
The state of Tennessee is subject to sales tax.
What if the item I want is unavailable/sold out?
We restock our shop often so be sure to check back!
What shipping method do you use?
At this time, we use US Postal Service.
Can I pick up my candle order?
Yes, you can if you live in the Nashville area or are visiting. Email us and we can schedule a\date and time that works best for you.

What is your refund policy?
Refunds are exclusively processed for unused, undamaged products. Please send your items back to b. loren & co. in their original packaging, ensuring careful packaging to prevent breakage during shipment, as refunds cannot be issued for damaged items. Refunds are issued only for returned products and do not cover initial shipping costs. As a small, growing business, we are currently unable to cover return shipping expenses. Refunds are typically credited back to the original payment method within 3-10 business days after submission. Exceptions: We do not accept returns or offer refunds on discounted or sale items, including those purchased during promotional periods, gift cards, or third-party products.
Can I exchange my candle if it was a gift?
If you've received one of our candles as a gift and wish to exchange it for another candle, kindly notify us via our business email or other approved method of communication. We will approve you return of the item(s) to
b. loren & co., via shipping or local drop off, if the item (s) is/are in its/their original, undamaged state.
Item(s) must also be shipped in its/their original packaging. Customer is responsible for costs relating to shipping or drop-off/pickup costs necessary to send the package back to b.loren & co.
Please ensure that the shipment is securely packed, as exchanges cannot be facilitated for items that arrive damaged. Please note that no refunds can be issued for gifts.
Candle FAQs
What is the best way to burn b. loren & co., candles?
Industry standards recommend that the first burn of a candle is essential and includes burning its wax surface fully. During the initial burn, ensure that the melted wax pool extends to the jar's edges before extinguishing. This promotes even burning and prevents "tunneling"; Always supervise candles, keeping them out of reach of children, pets, and
drafts. Allow the jar to cool fully before handling.

Why soy?
We opt for soy wax for several compelling reasons. Its renewable nature and carbon-neutral
footprint resonate with us. Appreciating its cleaner burn and longer-lasting performance
compared to paraffin, we are drawn to soy wax's qualities. The delightful fusion of soy wax with
premium fragrances adds to our admiration. Above all, we cherish working with soy for its
natural, non-toxic composition, allowing us to interact with it daily without concern.
Are your fragrances phthalate free? What is a phthalate??
Our fragrances are presently free from phthalates. [This decision may be altered at the discretion of b.loren & co.] Phthalates are commonly used to dissolve raw materials in apothecary, medicine, and fragrances. There has been growing concern about the potential health risks associated with high levels of phthalates, particularly in children. Although there are currently no regulations against the use of phthalates in candles, we have chosen not to include fragrances containing them. While the levels of phthalates typically present in candles are not considered harmful to consumers or manufacturers, we believe in the principle of simplicity, hence our decision to avoid them altogether.

Are your candles vegan? Do you or your suppliers test on animals?
Our candles and fragrances are considered vegan! We are happy to report that neither we nor our suppliers engage in animal testing. This is subject to change, at our suppliers' discretion.
Do you use essential oils in your candles?
In crafting our candles, we incorporate fragrance oils containing elements of essential oils, although we do not utilize pure essential oils. Although we appreciate the qualities of essential oils, we believe fragrance oils offer superior scent diffusion in candles due to their stronger scent throw. Essential oils, with their lower flash points, often evaporate upon burning, diminishing their effectiveness in candle formulations.
How fragrant are b. loren & co. candles?
Our experience suggests that our candles beautifully scent medium to large-sized rooms. For spaces with lofty ceilings, we suggest incorporating two or more of our candles for optimal fragrance distribution. Due to our use of natural soy wax, our candles may not diffuse scent as intensely as paraffin counterparts. We take pride in this subtlety, as it allows for daily use without overwhelming your senses.
How often are new scents/products released?
We try to release 1-2 new scents to our line each year. Follow us on social media and sign up for our newsletter on the homepage for sneak peaks at upcoming products.
Are your candles available for wholesale?
Yes! We are always looking for new shops and boutiques to work. Please visit our wholesale page and fill out a form. We will be in touch right away to work out the details.
Do you offer private candle parties?
Yes, we do!
• We offer private candles parties for a minimum of 6 people with a maximum of 8.
• $50 per person
• BYOB and any snacks you would like to have.
